Theresa Moore graduated from Delaware Technical and Community College in 1988 with an associate degree in applied science accounting. She is a member of Phi Theta Kappa, an international honor society for students seeking an associate or bachelor’s degree. She has volunteered her time working with children in 3rd thru 6th grade in the AWANA (Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed) program for 15 years. Mrs. Moore worked for 35 years in the Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing and Electrical business in various positions in customer service. She loved being an advocate for her elderly clients, making sure they were taken care of in a timely manner and with respect. She loves helping people and learning new things. She is eager to learn more about people with exceptionalities and support GACEC’s mission to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities. Mrs. Moore has been married for 32 years and has two adult daughters. One daughter is a Chemist, and her other daughter is a Medical Assistant. Her husband works for the Caesar Rodney School District as a Custodian. She and her husband just entered the “empty nest” phase of their lives. They have two fur babies and three grand fur babies. Mrs. Moore is the Administrative Support Specialist of the GACEC.
