
Daniella Spitelli-Sarnecky, Esq., is a dedicated member of the Delaware Governor’s Advisory Council for Exceptional Citizens, bringing both professional expertise and personal insight to the Council’s mission of promoting inclusion, accessibility, and equal opportunity for individuals with disabilities.
A Delaware attorney by profession, Ms. Spitelli-Sarnecky has developed a strong foundation in advocacy, policy, and the legal frameworks that impact individuals with disabilities and their families. She has a deep understanding for navigating complex issues and has extensive, dynamic and diverse working is experience across multiple fields as she has served the State of Delaware Courts, the Delaware Department of Correction, the Delaware Division of Youth Rehabilitative Services, the Delaware Criminal Justice Council, and Delaware schools. She is committed to advancing equitable outcomes through thoughtful collaboration and informed decision-making.
In addition to her professional background, Ms. Spitelli-Sarnecky brings intimate, firsthand experience with children with disabilities. This perspective informs her approach to service, grounding her work in both empathy and practical understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by families and communities.
She was appointed to the Council in 2026 and serves on the Policy and Law Committee.
